I am an assistant professor in the Department of Chicano/Latino Studies and in the Program in Medical Education for the Latino Community (PRIME-LC) at the School of Medicine, both at the University of California, Irvine. I received my Ph.D. in Social-Personality Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2003.
