Promoting Cultural-Clinical Psychology
Cultural-Clinical Psychology exists at the intersection of two academic traditions: cultural psychology and clinical psychology. This field represents the ongoing evolution of a decades-long effort by psychologists to understand the ways in which culture shapes mental and physical health and well-being. The purpose of this website is:
- To bring together psychological researchers with a substantial interest in this area;
- To facilitate the further development of a psychological perspective on the cultural shaping of mental and physical health and well-being;
- To share this perspective with the larger academic community, especially researchers in adjacent disciplines concerned with similar questions.
